We are looking for a Sr. Network Analyst for our direct client onsite in Houston, TX through 2026.  This position will be responsible for design and operation of the client LAN \ WAN network. In addition, the analyst will work with minimum direct supervision and work as part of technical teams on special projects and initiatives.


Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and install routers, switches, or other network components.
  • Demonstrate a working knowledge of the following: spanning tree, routing protocols (RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, BGP), VLAN technologies, WAN protocols.
  • Conduct network troubleshooting using network protocol analysis tools such as Wireshark.
  • Act as SME (Subject Matter Expert) during audits.
  • Conduct knowledge transfer activities with peers or other support groups.
  • Responsible for vendor comparisons as needed.
  • Maintain network drawings.
  • Provide testing for new network hardware and software solutions.
  • Accountable for adhering to Change Management process for network related incidents.
  • Participates in process improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as member of technical team on selected large-scale substation networking projects.
  • Provides support, testing, troubleshooting for all business applications.
  • Utilize intelligent network management tools to isolate problems or improve network performance
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience that includes network design, operational support, hands-on implementation and configuration of network devices such as: routers and switches.
  • Minimum 6 years’ experience in providing design and support services for large-scale, multi-site network environments.
  • Possess good working knowledge and experience in planning, design, installation, and support of LAN (Ethernet, Gig-Ethernet).
  • Possess good working knowledge and experience in Industrial Control Systems (ICS) protocols such as: CONITEL, DNP, Modbus and 68150.
  • Possess good working knowledge of cybersecurity.
  • Possess good NERC-CIP knowledge
  • Desired Cisco Certifications: CCNA, CCENT
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Ability to operate motor vehicle and enter/exit vehicle without assistance.
  • Willingness to travel to meetings offsite.
  • Willingness to work nights/weekends to complete projects.
