We are seeking a Systems Administrator to work for our direct client in Bowling Green, KY.  This is a direct hire, full time opportunity.  Our client would prefer someone work onsite, however, hybrid or remote is available for the right candidate. No sponsorship is available.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Administration of Veradigm. Responsible for escalated support tickets.
  • Support and maintenance of application server and SQL database server.
  • Support HL7 interfaces between Patient Management (PM) and several clinical applications.
  • Maintain PM automated processes including ETL.
  • Administer and support Phreesia patient engagement application.
  • Manage and maintain Windows servers and applications, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.
  • Provide technical support to staff across the organization, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
  • Provide additional support for Altera TouchWorks EHR.
  • Implement and maintain automation tools to streamline IT processes and improve efficiency.
  • Work collaboratively with other IT team members and departments to achieve shared goals.
  • Document technical procedures and maintain accurate records.
  • Stay up to date on emerging technologies and best practices in healthcare IT.
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of experience managing various Windows Server versions, including configuration, deployment, patching, and updates.
  • Experience troubleshooting Microsoft Office and other computer-based applications.
  • Superior understanding of MS Active Directory.
  • Networking fundamentals: Strong understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, firewalls, and network troubleshooting.
  • Excellent communication, both written and oral, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service experience.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Hands-on, self-starter with a strong work ethic.
  • Work on-call rotation for 1 week every 6 weeks.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Systems Administrator experience in healthcare.
  • Experience with healthcare applications such as Electronic Medical Records (EMR), practice management, and patient engagement systems.
  • Virtualization experience.
  • SQL Server: Proven ability to install, configure, manage, and optimize SQL Server databases for optimal performance and reliability.
  • Power Shell scripting
  • Expertise in writing SQL queries to retrieve, manipulate, and analyze data.
  • Working onsite preferred (open to hybrid or remote for the right candidate).
